Postural Intergration

Postural Integration consists of Skeletal mobilisation and Traditional Thai Massage. These therapies help of giving awareness and mobilise to your body of your posture and general health and well-being.

Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage is a firm pressure massage which helps with muscular pain, restricted range of movement and soft tissue problems and general wellbeing. It can be incorporated with Sports massage and Skeletal Mobilisation techniques or Trigger point therapy to release deep tension within the body, relieving injuries, muscular aches and pains.

Sports Massage

A type of massage that is specifically tailored to sporting injuries or preventing injuries before the activity. It is not meant to be a relaxing massage and can become quite vigorous at times. Sports massage is not only utilized by professional sports people but for anybody.

Trigger Point Therapy

The application of pressure to trigger points (hypersensitive areas in the soft tissue caused by tension within muscle fibre). Often these trigger points result in referred pain in another part of the body. For instance lower back pain, 'cricked' neck, joint pain, headaches etc. Detection and release of these trigger points results in reduction or elimination of this pain and discomfort.

Therapeutic Massage

A nurturing hands-on full body massage of medium pressure treatment and relieves stress and tension. Therapeutic massage improves your circulation, improves muscle tone and promotes total mind and body relaxation.

Pregnancy Massage

A gentle massage to relieving the muscle cramps, spasms calms the nervous system, peripheral swelling, helps to prevent insomnia and pain often encountered in the lower back, neck, hips and legs during pregnancy. It is a side-lying body positioning with body pillows for extra comfort.

Skeletal Mobilisation

Skeletal Mobilisation is muscle re-education and a new awareness of body image allowing for increased joint mobility and freedom of movement. The massage therapist moves the joints through their full range of motion whilst the client remains relaxed subconsciously. Often after injury and trauma the body can have restricted movement even though the original injury is completely healed.

Polarity Therapy

Gentle therapy involving light touch to improve and maintain health and well-being. It clears and balances the human energy field to balance energy, repair injury, prevent illness and build health.

It is performed fully clothed and is a very relaxing and non invasive therapy. It was developed by Dr Randolph Stone Polarity Therapy, which heals by activating the Chi energy and balancing the natural life force energy fields around the body. Universal energy flows through all of nature, and as we are a part of nature, the energy also flows through and sustains us by the law of opposites.

Mobile Massage

Mobile massages are provided by some remedial massage therapists for clients who are either unable to attend a Massage Clinic or find it more convenient to have a treatment at their own home.

Elderly or convalescing people could find this to be a very useful option, as would the parents of young children who do not have child care. Services are also offered at some hotels for business people and visitors and this can be arranged through the hotel's concierge.

Traditional Thai Massage

A type of massage in Thai style that involves stretching and deep massage. This form of bodywork is usually performed on the yoga mat and the client wears comfortable clothes that allow for movement. It is like lazy man yoga. No oils are used in Traditional Thai massage.

Myofascial Cupping

Myofascial Cupping is a safe and non-invasive technique for effective release of connective tissue or fascia, and muscle hyper irritability.

Myofascial Cupping is a modern adaptation of the traditional style cupping which differs by specifically targets the musculoskeletal system rather than the meridian systems used by traditional Chinese practitioners. It is used by plastic cups and vacuum suction to increase the nutrient – rich blood supply to the injured or scared tissue area. This creates a negative pressure which passively stretches myofascial tissue and results in increasing the ROM (Range of Motion).

Myofascial Cupping assists in reduction of the local inflammation and aids the recovery.

A Massage for Vital Health Myofascial cupping treatment can be added to any style and length of massage.
